Trevor Pettingill, MPT is the owner and founder of Elite Physical Therapy. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Master of Physical Therapy degree in May 2004, and began his career working in small, physical therapist-owned, outpatient clinics in Washington state. He expanded his knowledge by working in a long-term care facility as a rehab director and also providing in-home care before starting his own private practice. Additionally, Trevor has worked with many athletes of all levels, and is particularly skilled in treating sports, overuse and running injuries. His experiences in different treatment settings provide the background necessary to give his patients a balanced approach to their therapy needs. Trevor's treatment approach is based on the understanding that there is no better person capable of healing an injury than one's own self. "Sometimes, the individual just needs a little guidance to put them in that right healing environment. That's where the physical therapist can be of help. Our job is to help you know how to heal yourself!" Trevor is a husband and father of five children. He is a life-long runner and competed in Track and Cross Country at the collegiate level. He competed in the Marathon Olympic Team Trials in 2004. In addition to running, he enjoys sports, music, golfing, camping, and spending time with family.
