Katie is from a military family and has lived in many places before coming to Washington. She attended Colorado State University, where she graduated with a BS in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine. Soon after, she joined the Army and attended the Army-Baylor University Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy in Fort Sam Houston, Texas where she obtained her DPT. She has served as a physical therapist at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY, overseas at Camp Humphreys, South Korea, and locally at Joint Base Lewis McChord. Her military background has brought her unique experience in working with high-level collegiate and tactical athletes in both injury rehabilitation and athletic performance improvement settings. She is board-certified in orthopedics and is experienced in working with advanced manual therapy techniques. She is certified in Dry Needling and holds an endorsement for the state of Washington. Katie is also specialized in Pelvic Health and is very passionate about working with individuals through pregnancy and postpartum, and those managing issues with pain, bowel or bladder issues, or prolapse. Katie serves as adjunct faculty for Baylor University, Tufts University, and University of Puget Sound DPT programs. Outside of work, Katie loves spending time with her family and exploring the PNW!
